Chrysler 300C from USA
Chrysler 300C is the flagship sedan of the American brand, although in addition to the sedan body, the car was also offered as a station wagon. In Europe, the car was offered as the Lancia Thema for some time, when Chrysler merged with Fiat and functioned as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). However, in this form it was sold only in 2011-2014. The car has two generations. The first with the designation LX was offered in 2005-2010.
In the case of this Chrysler 300C model from the USA, the price on the Polish secondary market is so attractive that it is not profitable to import a car from the USA. The situation is different for the second generation with the LD designation, which hit dealerships in 2011 and was produced until 2023 exclusively as a sedan. In Bryki from America we can bring you such a car. Get to know the car Chrysler 300C closer - fuel consumption, dimensions, specifications and equipment.
Chrysler 300C - 2nd generation (LD, 2011-2023)
The second generation of the Chrysler 300C was shown in late 2010, and production began in 2011 in Canada. The body design was a continuation of the predecessor, but special emphasis was placed here on increasing the space inside the cabin and providing even more comfortable conditions. The car was to compete with the BMW 5 Series and Cadillac CTS.
The LX and later LD platforms were a development of the Mercedes W210 platform, as the Chrysler 300C was created at a time when the brand was working with Daimler. The car had rear-wheel drive as standard and optional four-wheel drive. In most models, the suspension was classic, with McPherson struts, but in the S and Performance there was an adaptive suspension, which was lowered by 10 mm.
In 2012, a technical modification was made to the Chrysler 300C - the 3.6 V6 Pentastar engine received an 8-speed automatic transmission. The first facelift was introduced for the 2015 model year. Chrysler 300C from the USA - why is it worth it?
The second-generation Chrysler 300C is less serrated and more refined than the LX generation. After leaving Mercedes, Chrysler was able to focus on providing a higher level of luxury to compete with, among others, German brands. It is most profitable to bring cars manufactured after 2015, when the car underwent a facelift, so it is worth considering only such offers. The most difficult thing seems to be to get a copy with a 6.4 HEMI V8 engine, which will be ideal for those looking for a powerful experience in luxury conditions. Although the Chrysler 300C was offered in Europe as the Lancia Thema, it was not very popular after the rebadging. There is nothing surprising in this, because the logo of the Italian brand on the American cruiser looked quite strange. Therefore, the only way out is to bring cars from the USA. You can count on a powerful engine, attractive equipment, a young vintage and low mileage.
